Study for the IELTS in New Zealand

The Academic IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam is very important for anyone who wants to study at an English language speaking university.  The qualification is recognised by more than 6,000 institutions worldwide.  There are tests of your speaking, writing, listening and reading.

At RELA, our IELTS preparation course runs all through the year, so you can join it at any time.  Your teachers have a very good understanding of the requirements of the test, and will help you develop your language skills in the most important areas.   Our IELTS classes are usually quite small (with a maximum of 12 students) and you will be in a very focused class.

It’s not all hard work, though!  There is also time for fun and communicative tasks, and of course there is the unique RELA social programme to enjoy in your spare time.  

We will also help you with the arrangements for the examination, which you can take in Rotorua.

The IELTS class is a particularly international course - in 2010 we welcomed students from lots of different countries, including Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Caledonia, Russia, Tahiti and Taiwan.
